The 46 is being/has been extended to Lancaster Gate Station, according to TfL's website (they put all the upcoming changes here http://www.tfl.gov.uk/buses/cib_service_change.asp)&lt;br&gt;

Definitely a useful link to start a nice towpath walk&lt;br&gt;
